It is hot here as it is supposed to be. I do however miss the artificial chills New York can offer. Most of the stores do not have A/C, if they do, like the big chains and supermarkets, they keep it on a low setting When ordering a refreshing drink, two ice cubes is a luxury. I need a massive blast of arctic air and an iced filled glass of ice tea (without sugar which is impossible to find ...)
I am lucky my apartment is in an really old building with thick limestone walls. A fan is all I need to stay cool, also I have a neighborhood supermarket to supply my daily dose of ice cubes (something I could not find in Alsace..) Who knew I am now considering a bag of ice cubes as a luxury item?
The Tram air system is also on a low setting. I found where the source of the A/C is (one for the 4 wagons tram), and stand right under it. Air Gold I call it: call me an "Air digger" I don't care, I am cool.....
Next step: movie theater, will I need to bring a fan?
